Ladies
of NOW -- Nigeria
Outreach for Wellness -- is a non-profit charitable organization
of young Nigerian ladies who have a desire to assist and educate the underprivileged
in our exquisite homeland of Nigeria. Our mission is
to promote and encourage economic, educational, cultural and social needs
and maintain our cultural heritage and identity. We utilize our talents
and skills to serve humanity, empower ladies, embrace sisterhood and network
with fellow Nigerians.
Ladies of NOW
was founded in September of 2005 and is a registered non-profit corporation
in the state of Georgia. Collectively, along with other members we donate
our time and energy to support organizations that offer assistance to
those in need in our native land. In addition to soliciting donations
and submitting grant proposals, we host local fundraisers in the Atlanta
area. Along with organizing fundraisers and donating our time to other
organizations, we will have series of "ladies-only" socials.
These gatherings offer ladies a chance to network and associate with
other professional ladies in a formal environment. Proceeds from our
organization go towards educating and assisting with supplies for Diabetes,
AIDS, Sickle Cell, and other diseases that are ailing our native country.
Also individual primary schools will receive assistance through supplies
and education.
Ladies of NOW
is a 501(c)(3) organization and is organized entirely for charitable
purposes. NOW’s prime purpose is to offer assistance to grassroots entities
helping the underprivileged in Nigeria. Ladies of NOW does not participate
in or intervene in any political campaign on behalf of, or in opposition
to, any candidate for public office.
